My little brother Liam, has been in the Boy Scouts since he was a tiger in 1st grade. I have been lucky enough to see him grow up in the troop and call the families in the troop part of my own family. January 28th, was a special day for our Nunda troop. The Boy Scouts of America were founded in 1910. The Nunda troop 4077 was founded in 1917. So for 100 years Nunda has had an ever growing family. This weekend the Families came together and celebrated the growth of our troop over the years with good food, laughs, and stories shared. I took ALOT of photos at the event, with the help of Ethan I had 367 photos to go through, quite a few were doubles and that was good. When trying to get boys to pose for photos you will find many will make faces at you haha. So I hope you enjoy our little get together. If anyone would like prints please head over to the Book Sessions and Prints page to see how to.
Historical Items
So while not all the items here are "historical" in ten years from now they will be so I thought I would put them in this category. Members of the troop past and present where asked to bring any items they would like to bring to put out to show all of the experiences they had through scouting.

Presentations
Mr. Byrnes did a presentation for our troop a couple years ago and he was able to come back, as the oldest living boy scout in Nunda to give a history of our troop. We also had Mr. Cox our town mayor and James Culbertson a representative for Senator Cathy Young who was unable to attend because she got the flu.
